I found a GREAT experience at Fusion. The one star is because after becoming loyal to a great cosmetologist, she left and they would not share where she went.
I found out that Fusion is Great Clips on steroids. Fusion does a better job than Great Clips at recruiting talent, but the sad fact is that their cosmetologists are hired at an hourly wage, don't get their full tips, and will leave when experience gains and opportunities present themselves.
I did an all over dye from dark brown to a coppery red, and Katelyn really took the time to get it exactly how I wanted. You can tell she puts a lot of care into the quality of her work, and she had lots of great advice for how to style and maintain it. Everyone there was very friendly and professional.
I have been a client at fusion for many years. The atmosphere is very relaxing and everyone is very nice. I always leave very satisfied with my cut and.color.
I tried to set up an appointment with this place on my only day off (Monday), but apparently they're closed on that day. As a result, I opted to schedule an appointment on the following day when I'm not working as many hours. When I actually show up for my appointment, I find out that my stylist was "sick" and subsequently called out of work, and the best they can do to compensate for this is to have me come in the on the next day when I'm WORKING AT MY JOB, instead of finding someone else to cut my hair while I'm physically standing in the store. Sure, they called me that morning so I wouldn't have to waste my time driving there, but some us (like me), work at night and sleep during the day, and I don't know about you, but I have a hard time answering phone calls when I'm asleep, hence the entire reason behind the 2 PM appointment that I scheduled a week in advance! Thanks for wasting my time, Fusion Hair.
If you are looking for someone you can trust for your cosmetic needs long-term, keep looking. Don't put your faith in Fusion employees. If you find someone there you like, make sure you are on their personal cell phone contact list for when they move on.
