I will not be coming back again for grooming services. My dog’s appointment was for first thing at 7am. We needed to drive out of state that day, so I thought bringing him in this early would be fine. I was told he would be ready in 3-4 hours. 4 hours passed and no call. 5 hours passed and still no call. I drove down thinking he would be ready by the time I arrived. I called before going in and was told it would be another HOUR! If I hadn’t called, I would still be wondering what was going on. This is very unacceptable and unprofessional. I should have been notified of any delays. In total, it was 6 1/4 hours before he was ready! He was only getting a bath and trim down with nail grinding. There was no fancy cut. I was upset his ears weren’t touched. I paid extra for the Chi package and you could barely smell it on him. I don’t think they used the finishing spray. If they couldn’t finish on time, they should have had the decency to call. The groomer there when I arrived was nice and understanding. She contacted the manager and I did receive a discount. It still cost $50 for a bath and basic trim without styling on a small dog. This is not the first time my day off was wasted waiting on them. I would not recommend.

I like Petsmart for their variety of Pet supplies and reaining services. I do not use them for their Grooming services due to wait times and there are no exceptions for thise with obvious health issues who are required to pay a fee to get their pet back at an earlier time. This fee should be waved if a person who in unable to drive and must rely on another to help them bring their pet in has seizures,COPD, on oxygen or heart trouble and medical documentation that proves they are 100% disabled from it and it could be harmful for them to wait long periods of time and they have no way back and forth with transportation. Pet smart needs to work on this policy. Not for abusers. For those who are truly in need of it as stated above. Maybe can call customer service for a coupon coxe in this case to be provided an appt time with no expedited service fee after answering information and email approval. I could handle that. Vet services are good except it took 6 months for them to fax my invoice for me.

I walked in to return something someone else had bought and stated to the cashier, "I didn't purchase this and I don't have the card it was purchased on, but I have the receipt. Could you still refund the card with which it was purchased?" The cashier took the receipt, looked at it, and said, "Do you have the card ending in -xxxx?". I said "No, that's what I just said... can you still process the refund for that card?" He said "OK" and didn't say anything while he worked at the register... then opened the drawer and began counting cash. I said, "Wait, can you not refund the card with the receipt?" and he said "No you have to have the card." Okie dokie.
